The cherry blossom festival is what I mean. The essence of the festival is to nurture the friendship and ties between the two countries, Japan and the United States. Thanks to Japan for gifting us with some 3700 cherry trees along and around the tidal basin.
We enjoy the splendid beauty of the eye catching blossom while taking a gentle stress free walk along the river. The Jesfferson memorial stands tall amidst the hurly-burly of all the noisy activities. Its time to enjoy the taste of the blossom inspired creations and soak in the dance, music and food more than only just enjoying a showcase of beautiful flowering trees. The interesting fact is that each year the visitors out number the cherry trees

The mind is refreshed with the beautiful burst of color and grandeur. The never ending satisfaction only drenches the soul with utter content and delight emphasizing the abundance of mother nature.
It was sheer bliss experiencing the spectacular beauty over the weeknd!
